Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t get selected,  you’re strongly encouraged to apply to participate at the next Demo Day.

Each application is carefully assessed using specific criteria that includes:

  • Value to the Social Impact World community
  • The problem(s) the product solves
  • Quality and clarity of the elevator pitch

For Demo Day Venture and Demo Day Impact, there is a nominal cost for companies to demo.

For nonprofits participating in Demo Day Nonprofit, there isn’t a cost. 

Each Demo Day has 7 slots available for participating organizations. 

Generally, it’s first come fire serve unless an organization signs up and doesn’t get selected to participate. If this is the case, the organization has priority at the next Demo Day.

Each Demo Day is 3 hours long with 7 demo sessions lasting 20 minutes a piece. 

Note: Duration is subject to change depending on the number of participants. 

No. Each organization can participate in one Demo Day in a calendar year. 

For example, if Demo Day Venture is on November 30, 2023, a selected organization can’t apply to participate at another event until after November 30, 2024.
